Three of the Philippines’ most beloved and enduring OPM rock bands, 6cyclemind, Moonstar88 and Banda ni Kleggy, are joining forces for a highly anticipated US tour this coming June.
The powerhouse lineup will bring their signature sound and nostalgia-filled performances to four major American cities and is set to give Filipino music fans across the Pacific a reason to celebrate.
The tour kicks off on June 6 in Honolulu at the Hilton Hawaiian Village’s Tapa Ballroom. The trio then heads to the mainland for back-to-back performances: June 13 in Las Vegas, June 14 at The Vermont Hollywood in Los Angeles, California, and June 15 at the San Jose Civic Center in San Jose, California.

Each stop promises to be a reunion of sorts for longtime fans who have followed the bands through the years. Known for their iconic OPM melodies and anthemic lyrics, these groups helped define the golden era of OPM pop-rock in the early 2000s and continue to draw crowds with their hits and high-energy performances.
The tour announcement comes on the heels of a major milestone for Moonstar88. Just recently, the group celebrated 25 years of their timeless hit “Torete,” a track that has become a staple in Filipino playlists across generations.
The band, comprised of Maysh Baay (vocals/guitar), Bon Sundiang (drums) and Herbert Hernandez (lead guitar). headlined “Moonstar88: 25 Years of Torete,” a special concert event that paid homage to their rich catalog and lasting impact.

“Torete was born out of raw, unfiltered emotion—and maybe that’s why people keep coming back to it,” shared Hernandez. “I think every generation has felt that kind of vulnerability and intense love at least once in their lives. It’s a song na hindi nagpapanggap, and that honesty keeps it alive.”
With nearly three decades of music behind them, Moonstar88, along with 6cyclemind and Banda ni Kleggy, are set to remind everyone why OPM continues to thrive: loud, proud and ready to take the global stage once again.
