BTS’ J-Hope’s docuseries dances into global success on Prime Video
BTS’ J-Hope began his mandatory military service in April 2023. Despite the 18 months of service, Armys won’t be feeling his absence that much as he left his global fans something to watch.
Prime Video has already dropped episodes into the world of dance with the release of “Hope on the Street,” a documentary series featuring the BTS member.
Launched on March 28, the six-episode series offers an intimate look into J-Hope’s passion for dancing, taking viewers on an exploration across the streets of Osaka, Seoul, Paris, New York and Gwangju.
In “Hope on the Street,” the BTS member joins forces with his former mentor, the popping champion Boogaloo Kin, as they encounter and celebrate the talent of street dancers worldwide.
From the bustling alleys of Seoul to the romantic avenues of Paris, the series showcases the raw energy and creativity that permeate street dance culture worldwide.
Reflecting on his journey, J-Hope shares in the trailer, “I started with dance and that dancing led to many other things.” With each episode, viewers witness the evolution of J-Hope’s artistry and the transformative power of dance in his life.
“In the end, I found the answer in dancing and singing. We’ll just keep loving what we’re doing,” the idol further adds.
Meanwhile, in a social media post, Prime Video Philippines shared some still photos from the series, captioning it with “[J-Hope’s] passion for dance is unlike any other,” and replied to a user, “Just an all-rounder through and through!”
