For children, Easter morning unfolds as a treasure trove of delight and wonder, with anticipation mounting for the age-old tradition of hunting for brightly colored eggs hidden anywhere around the house.

For Christians, they commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ following the solemn observances of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Black Saturday. It’s a celebration of faith reborn and hope restored.

As the last day of the Holy Week unfolds, here’s how some of your favorite Filipino stars marked their Easter Sunday on March 31.

“Christ has risen. Happy Easter everyone,” she wrote. “Fam effort in painting. Bunny faces done by MaPa. Pretty easy to tell which one is mine”

On the flip side, her noontime show co-host, Vice Ganda, celebrated their 48th birthday, with the multi-awarded actress seen singing and greeting Vice a “happy birthday.”

However, instead of mentioning the real age, Curtis joked about Vice turning 50 already.

“50th mo fez mo! At dahil mapambwisit ka ipopost ko ‘to!” Vice expressed, sharing the supposed-to-be private greeting on their stories.

Posting more snippets on Instagram, Vice enjoyed the rest of Easter with a birthday celebration alongside Ion Perez, family and some friends.

Whether spent in quiet reflection or lively celebrations, Easter serves as a reminder of the hope that springs forth from the promise of resurrection. So, how did you spend your Easter Sunday?
