During Holy Week, we’re granted a valuable chance to step away from our usual work routines, allowing for moments of deep reflection and contemplation (“pagninilay,) or the opportunity to take a much-needed sanity break and explore different parts of the country or even the world.

Regardless of the choice made, it serves as a respite deeply required in our fast-paced world, whatever our beliefs and traditions are.

As Holy Week unfolds, the hosts of the noontime ABS-CBN show “It’s Showtime,” which will also be airing on GMA starting April 6, are taking a vacation from their hectic schedules.
