Fresh off the discussions sparked by her recent release “Richivities,” Filipino American rapper Saweetie has joined forces with Indian actor and musician Diljit Dosanjh for a collaboration song titled “Khutti.”
The collaboration seamlessly blends Dosanjh’s Punjabi beats with the Fil-Am rapper’s signature fusion of classic and contemporary hip-hop vibes.

In the music video, now available for streaming on YouTube, Saweetie delivers her rap verses in English while Dosanjh effortlessly mouths his lines in Punjabi.
This collaboration marks Saweetie’s debut venture with an Indian artist, and both stars are eager to present the single to their dedicated fan bases.
The description on their music video even read, “Khutti cheez hai!! A fusion of cultures and vibes like never before in this track celebrating authenticity and being the real deal!” a testament to the cross-cultural exchange prevalent in the music industry today.
Meanwhile, Dosanjh’s repertoire already has international collaborations, having previously teamed up with Australian singer Sia for the track “Hass Hass” and recently graced the stage with Ed Sheeran in Mumbai, where they performed his hit track “Lover” together.
Conversely, Saweetie’s latest solo release “Richivities” has triggered intense debates across social media platforms. While Saweetie aims to inspire listeners to pursue their aspirations, critics argue that the timing of the release couldn’t be worse, given the widespread economic challenges.
