NEW YORK CITY—After seven years of captivating audiences across the United States, Filipino American singer Garth Garcia is set to return to his roots with a highly anticipated homecoming concert in Manila this March.

As a serial entrepreneur and an award-winning vocalist and recording star, Garcia’s multi-faceted career has seen him seamlessly maneuver between managing a staffing agency, producing concerts and delivering show-stopping performances.

In an interview with Inquirer.net USA, the Fil-Am Prince of Pop shared his excitement about his upcoming concert at the iconic Music Museum.

“After 7 years I will be coming back and hold a homecoming concert…I was supposed to do this years back but then the pandemic hit,” he said. His return is a testament to his enduring connection to the Philippines and his eagerness to reconnect with his homeland.

The show will feature a blend of songs from his “My Time” concert tour in the US and his latest album, with musical direction by Tan Macalla. Fans can expect a rich collection of original songs and a star-studded lineup of guests, including Geca Morales, Deb Victa, RBC, Carmela Ariola, Faith Cuneta and Klarisse de Guzman. He also expressed an interest in collaborating with local artists like KZ Tandingan or Kyla, praising their unique artistry.

When asked what he missed about the Filipino audience, Garcia replied, “The cheers and the energy of an all-Filipino audience is amazing.” He looks forward to sharing new tracks and EPs live, offering both long-time followers and new listeners an opportunity to experience his music firsthand.
