Fil-Am Miss Teen Alaska is one step closer to Miss America’s Teen crown
For some, taking the road less traveled brings the gold at the end of the rainbow but not for Filipino American Lynciemae Adams who flew miles to chase Miss America’s Teen tiara.
This ice skating princess turned beauty queen jets off from Alaska to Orlando, Florida all set for her odyssey in the national pageant competing against 51 contestants.
Miss America’s Teen is a week-long event that kicked off on Tuesday, January 9 held at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando.
On Monday, each of the contenders started their journey with personal interviews and preliminary rounds showcasing their talents, fitness, and evening wear by Tuesday.

Not your average pageant screaming glitz and glamour, the competition also offers over five million dollars in cash scholarships yearly. Every candidate has a chance to earn educational scholarships at all levels of the pageant.

Fil-Am star shines
18-year-old Fil-Am Lyncie Mae Adams who won Miss Alaska’s Teen is not just a figure skater extraordinaire, but also a licensed private pilot. While on her way to snag the crown, she enjoys the journey and the experiences.
From the icy frontiers to sunny Orlando, she’s enjoying not just the warmth of the weather but she’s also excited to meet other candidates possibly turned friends by now.

“To all my new found sisters, let’s all enjoy the journey of Miss America’s Teen. Remember that we are a Queen, so keep shining and be a woman who knows the depth of her true beauty!,” shared Adams on her Instagram post.
On their first day, the candidates get to enjoy a Luau dinner party with all of them stunning in their floral dresses. On day 2, all the candidates underwent an interview.
