Spreading ‘Chickenjoy’ one piece at a time as Jollibee opens its first store in Michigan

Chickenjoy-famous Jollibee is finally bringing the phenomenon to Michigan turning Sterling Heights into a food haven of a timeless delight.

This January 12, 2024, residents of Michigan will have easier access to Jollibee’s signature ‘Chickenjoy.’ With its popularity in every corner of the world, even Chef Leah Cohen of Pig & Khao had cropped her own ‘Chickenjoy’ version.

Nestled at 44945 Woodridge Drive, Sterling Heights, Jollibee lands its first spot in Michigan. Hailed by Eater.com as the “best fried chicken in America,” this fast food chain proves to be the ultimate combo of flavor and joy.

In addition, nearby residents will also get a taste of their crispy chicken sandwiches (also in spicy variants) and their famous peach mango pie, perfect to cap off any Jolli-meal.

Although they’ve recently had a shortage of spicy Chickenjoys, the fast-food behemoth assured they’re working their best efforts to fix the issue with their suppliers.

Exclusive opening day deals

And here’s the scoop Jollibee lovers — the first 100 customers spending $20 or more on opening day have a golden ticket to a whole year of joy. Early birds will have a free Chickenjoy every month for one year, starting in February 2024 until January 2025.

But the surprises don’t just stop there. Come day 2 of the opening, the first 100 big spenders will get an exclusive beanie, while in day 3, early birds spending $20 and up will receive a tote bag.
