The Philippine government has adopted a multifaceted approach to tourism education, encompassing basic education, technical vocational education, and higher education. This comprehensive strategy aims to bridge the gap between industry requirements and the readiness of tourism graduates to enter the workforce.

Through collaboration with educational institutions, the DOT strives to ensure that graduates are well-prepared for employment opportunities tailored to their courses. The Philippines also stands out as a hub for education tourism, attracting not only Filipinos but also foreign professionals.
