Savor Filipino flavors and beats on Fil-Am rapper P-Lo’s US tour
At this Filipino-American rapper and producer’s series of events, good music and delectable food blend together seamlessly.
Embracing the flavors of his heritage and the beats of his music, “Talkin Bout” artist P-Lo embarks on a music and culinary adventure with the “Very Good Food Tour” in tribute to Filipino American History Month.
With a commitment to supporting small businesses and highlighting the rich Filipino culinary heritage, he took to Instagram at the beginning of October to share his exciting plans.
“I’m pulling up around the country as we celebrate Filipino American History Month, supporting small businesses, and enjoying the rich culture of Filipino cuisine,” the post reads.

The Filipino artist, recognized by Rolling Stone for his song “Put Me On Something” in the list of 100 greatest West Coast hip-hop songs of all time, is currently making his way through eight stops across North America, with notable destinations including Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto.
The roving series already kicked off with its first stop on Oct. 14 in San Diego, where it partnered with chef Phillip Esteban’s flagship Filipino restaurant White Rice Morena, known for its contemporary Filipino menu.

On Oct. 15, it also rolled out to Lasita in Los Angeles, a Filipino rotisserie and natural wine bar, where they had to relocate to accommodate the high demand.

Highlights of the tour
P-Lo’s tour will also wind its way to Oakland on Oct. 21, making it the third stop on the itinerary. The spotlight of this leg is Señor Sisig, a regional Filipino chain that recently expanded with a new location earlier this year.
Aside from bringing together music and Filipino cuisine, each location will have its own meet-and-greet session with the Fil-Am artist.
This is also accompanied by exclusive merchandise for an enjoyable and family-friendly experience.
