SAN FRANCISCO — Venerable Mitchell’s Ice Cream, known for Filipino flavors, and the popular Filipino American-Mexican fusion eatery Señor Sisig are teaming up for October Filipino American History Month by introducing a new ice cream treat at Señor Sisig brick and mortar locations in the city.

Scoops of the exclusive “Filipino Mangonada” ice cream flavor made from fresh Philippine mangoes will be served at both establishments’ locations in San Francisco starting Oct. 1 for the whole month. However, Mangonada with a savory chamoy sauce swirl as topping and a Tajin rim will be available only at Señor Sisig restaurants.
