Fil-Am Arts free LA festival set for Labor Day Weekend
LOS ANGELES – A free community festival in Los Angeles will celebrate Filipino heritage, arts and culture this Labor Day Weekend.
The 2021 Census estimates that 129,754) Filipinos reside in Los Angeles.
The 29th Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture’s “Para Sa Lahat (For One and All” is set for Friday, Sept. 1 from 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 2 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Levitt Pavilion in MacArthur Park.
Host FilAm ARTS, a nonprofit, will feature art showcases, vendors, Filipino food and performances from community artists and cultural dance groups.
Friday night’s line-up will include performances by The Mellow Dees, Introvoys, DJ Icy Ice and Jocelyn Enriquez.

On Saturday evening, entertainment will by artists Gingee, Kayamanan Ng Lahi, the Malaya Dance Company, Pakaraguian Kulintang Ensemble and the Rondalla Club of Los Angeles.
