Candidates are evaluated on their entrepreneurial competencies and leadership, impact and support of minorities and young leaders.

A prolific author, Munoz has published more than 25 books, notably including his three book projects supporting minority entrepreneurship – “Hispanic Latino Entrepreneurship,” “African American Entrepreneurs” and “Native American Entrepreneurs” .

“I am most proud of those three book projects. They were challenging to do and there were limited references on these topics. It required hundreds of interviews nationwide and countless hours of research and writing,” Muñoz said. “Yet, the journey was quite fulfilling. I learned and became inspired by the courage, passion, savvy and grit demonstrated by minority entrepreneurs.

For the first time, the Triple E will be a global awards event this year. It will take place in Barcelona, Spain, on June 26-29, 2023. The awards are organized into four regions worldwide (Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific), with the finalists coming together in a global celebration of leadership.
