Madonna, 64, Confirms Relationship with 29-Year-Old Boxer
Madonna confirmed on Tuesday that she is dating boxer Josh Popper. The news comes a day after Daily Mail shared similar news about the 64-year-old music icon.
People spotted the mother of six getting close to Popper in a few photos. Also, Madonna shared a picture of them kissing on Instagram.
The couple was wearing masks and all-black outfits, and the image had a caption, “Killers who are partying.”

Madonna was a music artist who became famous in the 80s for songs such as “Like A Virgin.” Also, she appeared in movies like “The Next Best Thing” and “Swept Away.”
On the other hand, Josh Popper owns the boxing gym Bredwinners in Manhattan.
Daily Mail says he had the opportunity to become a defensive lineman for Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey.
He graduated in 2015 and tried out for two NFL teams. However, he did not make the cut. Also, Popper’s LinkedIn says he became a licensed insurance salesman at New York Life.
The online profile also describes him as a “lifelong athlete and a full-time coach.”
In 2020, the Rowan graduate started his gym on the third floor of a building on East 28th Street. Popper worked as one of the several boxing coaches for adults and children.
According to a Daily Mail source, he has been teaching one of Madonna’s six children. Her recent pictures with the boxer seem to indicate she’s willing to go public with her new romance.
Metro UK says the couple took the photos at a Purium party. Madonna or “Madge” dressed as Kween Esther in an all-black outfit and a ski mask-like face covering.
Meanwhile, Josh Popper was also wearing an all-black fit and mask, but he still looked recognizable.
She was wearing a pair of dark sunglasses as she kissed her partner’s shoulder for the IG gallery.
Also, she placed a caption that read, “In a male-driven culture, there are always exceptions. Hard to ignore the reality… that most women get demolished [sic].“
However, both parties haven’t commented on their seemingly budding relationship. The romance rumors followed her split from Andrew Darnel.
Yet, Metro UK said they had only been dating “casually,” and she was “not broken-hearted.” Also, Page Six’s source said, “It’s just that it has come at a bad time.”
