Madonna announces greatest hits world tour
It’s official. Madonna announced her North American and European music tour in 2023. Dates are already out, and she will sing her most popular, era-defining hits.
Madonna isn’t just an iconic singer, but also the MTV goddess in the 1980s and ’90s. While her eclectic songs had left a mark in music history, she also gained critics for her defiance against the privileged and the powerful.
Her fans are in for 40 years worth of club dancing, and shape-shifting as the Queen of Pop celebrates her 40 years in the music industry. In “Madonna: The Celebration Tour,” she aims to highlight the assumptions about age and gender. Hence, this tour will be proof of her legacy as well as the cultural boundaries.

With reference to her 1991 film, she announced her music tour on social media with a clip featuring a truth-or-dare game. The video speaks everything about Madonna, with shots mostly in black and white and sometimes out of focus. Its effects are clearly raw and transgressive, which also featured some of her pals, Amy Schumer, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, and Judd Apatow.
“The Celebration Tour” will take the fans to four decades of Madonna’s hits like “Holiday,” “Material Girl,” and “Like a Virgin.” She will perform in arenas across North America from July to October. In addition, she will also tour where it all began, in New York.
