Breaking the Silence: Jack Nicholson’s Secret Daughter Speaks Out
Jack Nicholson’s daughter Tessa Gourin is sharing several details about her estranged father. She said he wasn’t “interested in having a relationship with her.
The 28-year-old was born in 1994 after a fling between the star of “The Shining” and her waitress mother, Janine.
Nicholson has never publicly acknowledged Gourin as his daughter. However, The Daily Beast reports that his paternity is “an open secret” in Hollywood.

Gourin shared his thoughts about Nicholson during an interview with The Daily Beast on Wednesday.
She said that her mother asked her not to tell anyone that she had a well-known father. Her mom Janine raised her on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
Jack Nicholson’s daughter attended private schools reportedly paid for by her Hollywood dad.
“I knew he was powerful and Daddy Warbucks-level rich, so I kind of equated my life to being like Orphan Annie’s,” Gourin stated.
Yet, Nicholson has not reached out to her for several years. Gourin didn’t say when she last spoke to him and admitted that she “doesn’t know him” very well.
The Daily Beast asked why that was the case. She replied, “I don’t think anyone’s ever given me a concrete answer.”
“I formed my own opinion. He’s a complicated person, and I think my mom fights her own demons.”
“With the combination of the two, I was simply collateral damage,” she said.
Moreover, Tessa Gourin said she inherited some of Jack Nicholson’s traits. She declared, “I’m [expletive] crazy.”
“I’m not the poster child for sanity, and I do think that’s a little similar to my dad, from what I’ve read.”
Moreover, she shares her dad’s love of acting, so she’s pursuing a similar career. Yet, she admitted difficulties from being estranged from Nicholson:
“Having grown up without my father, I’ve sat on the sidelines and watched in frustration as other celebrity children have seamlessly secured roles or been signed to huge agencies.”
Despite her past, Tessa Gourin is determined to move on and pursue her dreams.
“I was raised by a single mother in a really intense, nuanced situation… but I’m not gonna let that destroy me,” she declared.
