Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley dies of cardiac arrest
Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis and Priscila Presley’s only child, died on Thursday at age 54. A representative of her mom confirmed the news. The singer was hospitalized after a probable cardiac arrest.
Lisa Marie was also a singer-songwriter like her father, Elvis. He released three albums between 2003 and 2012. She and her first husband, Danny Keough, shared two children, a son Benjamin and a daughter Riley. The latter starred in “Logan Lucky” and “Mad Max: Fury Road.”

Lisa Marie wrote an essay for National Grief Awareness Day in September. She shared about her son’s loss. “My and my three daughters’ lives as we knew it was completely detonated and destroyed by his death. We live in this every. Single. Day.”
Their son Benjamin died of suicide in 2020. In 1994, Presley and Keough divorced after five and a half years of marriage. Then Presley married Michael Jackson, but they also divorced in 1996. She married Nicholas Cage in 2002, then divorced in November of the same year.

Moreover, in 2006 she married her music producer Michael Lockwood. The two shared twins, Finley Aaron and Harper Vivienne. They divorced in 2021. She was married four times.

The hospital announced her dead hours after responders rushed her to the hospital on Thursday after undergoing cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California. Kaitlyn Aldana, the LA County Fire Department spokesperson, told CNN that they mobilized the emergency rescuers when they received a call.
Another LA County sheriff spokesperson said they helped the fire officials on the medical call this morning. But they did not confirm the patient’s identity.
On Thursday, her mom Priscilla wrote on Facebook, “My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital. She is now receiving the best care. Please keep her and our family in your prayers. We feel the prayers from around the world and ask for privacy during this time.”
Elvis Presley’s daughter recently attended the 2023 Golden Globe Awards night. She and her mom supported Austin Butler as he received the best actor award for his role as Elvis in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic.
She said, “I can’t even describe what it meant.” The death of Lisa Marie Presley came less than a week after Elvis Presley’s supposedly 88th birthday.
