A North Vancouver man was charged in the Dec. 13 stabbing death of his aunt. Court documents identified the victim as Dominga Santos, 68.

Her nephew, Anthony Santos Del Rosario, 46, was charged with second degree murder. Del Rosario did not live with his aunt. He is being held in custody.

Although Del Rosario is known to police, investigators have not yet determined his motive for the killing and the reason for his presence at his aunt’s third-floor apartment at 225 West Third St. around 11 a.m., the North Shore News reported.
