Drew Barrymore is emotional as she reunites with ex Justin Long on ‘Drew Barrymore Show’
A new season of the ‘Drew Barrymore Show’ has just kicked in and the talk show features an important guest from her past. Drew Barrymore had one of her popular exes, Justin Long, on the set. On Sunday, the actress wasn’t able to hold back her emotions during their chitchat.
Justin Long, 44, joined her on the show and Barrymore teared up. The two used to date from 2007 until 2010. The actress, 47, confessed that she will ‘always love’ him.
Drew hugged Justin before they sat down to go back in memory lane. They reminisce about the ‘hedonistic’ days of their relationship. The former couple said they have ‘been through so much together.’

Drew said, “I feel like we’ve been through so much together. When we used to talk and FaceTime I was always like, You know, I’ve really grown up, Justin. I always wanted to prove to you what a different person I was then when we dated.”
Long then assured her, “You were the best. We had so much fun but we were more hedonistic. A little more immature. We would get together, we would break up. It was chaos. It was hella fun.”
This is the first time the two sat down to talk after a decade since they first dated. They first appeared together in the 2009 movie, He’s Just Not That Into You. But they began dating before that in 2007. The two broke up one year later and shortly rekindled their romance. Then they split up again for good.

Drew had also mentioned Justin sharing some of her positive contemplations on her time with Justin. In July, she said on her talk show, “I didn’t get why we are ever an interesting couple. That didn’t make any sense to me. Like, who cares? We’re not excited.”
Moreover, Justin was dating Kate Bosworth since 2021. While Drew is a single mother to her two daughters Olive, 9, and Frankie, 8.
While Justin Long’s appearance as a guest on The Drew Barrymore Show had sparked their fans’ interest, he isn’t the only ex Drew has invited to her show. The talk show host also invited her ex-husband Tom Green to join her show. It also marked their first conversation after 15 years.
