Adele opens up about relationship with Rich Paul and the ‘worst moment’ in her career
Adele is over the moon when it comes to her love life and career. In an interview, the 34-year-old singer reveals details of her new Las Vegas residency and her love life with her boyfriend, Rich Paul.
The superstar opens up about her sports agent boyfriend, “I’ve never been in love like this. I’m obsessed with him.”
Last summer, the couple was romantically rumored after the public saw them attending the NBA Finals together in Arizona. After the game, a source told ET that the two “seemed very happy together.

In September 2021, Richard Paul and Adele took it to Instagram to announce that they were official. Since then, fans and the public eye have spotted them on different dates. Adele even talked about new babies and engagement after people noticed her massive pear-shaped diamond ring. She’s wearing it on her wedding finger while performing at the 2022 Brit Awards.
The singer superstar even teases her answers during an Elle magazine interview. “I’m not engaged. I love high-end jewelry, boy!” Adele also pointed out that she does “absolutely” want to get married again. She also added that she “might as well be married” at the thought of how happy and in love she is.
Adele was married before to Simon Konecki. They shared a 9-year-old son, Angelo. Although separated, the former couple is on good terms. Last month, during Adele’s London concert, Konecki was also in the same VIP section where Paul was sitting.

Furthermore, Adele also opened up about her personal life. “I want more kids. I’m a homemaker and a matriarch. And a stable life helps me with my music. But right now, all I got in my brain is Vegas. I wanna f**king nail it.”

On January 20, Adele postponed her Las Vegas residency the day before it started. She said that although it was painful, it was an artistic decision and something that she doesn’t regret.
Adele added, “It was the worst moment in my career. By far, I was so excited about those shows. It was devastating. But there was just no soul in it.” She is referring to the first repeat of her show. “The stage setup wasn’t right. It was disconnected from my band and me and lacked intimacy. And maybe I tried too hard to give it those things in such a controlled environment.”
She confirmed that she realized those details at the dress rehearsal the night before she made the cancellation announcement. Adele walked through the end of the stage with frustration. She unplugged her mic, sat down, and started singing a cappella while on the 15,700-square-foot location.
However, her last-minute cancellation of the show affected thousands of fans. Thousands of fans waiting to hear Adele’s songs flew from different cities worldwide. Adele’s immediate decision also derailed the promotion of her 15-time Grammy winner’s fourth album. She also revealed that she literally “went into hiding” after canceling the shows. Adele remained indoors for most of the week after the incident due to lurking paparazzi.
