To celebrate #AAPIHeritageMonth, Jalen Green, the 19-year-old Filipino American Houston Rockets basketball player, partnered with Adidas and local Toronto charity Rise Tribe to create a “Filipinx Night Market” where local artists, vendors, and food suppliers were spotlighted.

Green shared his favorite Filipino foods, trends, and more before donating $10,000 to continue supporting community programs in the Greater Toronto Area. Green’s mother Bree Purganan hails from Ilocos Sur and his maternal grandfather is a full-blooded Filipino. His father is Marcus Green.
