Christmas celebrations, Honolulu and San Francisco

HONOLULU — The Honolulu Chorale and its new music director, Karol Nowicki, present A Joyful Christmas for their 51st season, celebrating various holiday carols: African Noel arranged by Andre J. Thomas; Brazilian Christmas Carol by Benjamin Harlan; Mary Had a Baby by William L. Dawson; We Wish You a Merry Christmas arranged by John Rutter and more.

SAN FRANCISCO — The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco and the University of the Philippines Alumni Association San Francisco (UPAASF) will host Paskuhan sa Konsuladoan evening of Filipino Christmas traditions.

The event kicks off with Simbang Gabi, followed by the lighting of parols and the singing of Christmas carols.  The celebration would not be complete without popular delicacies to be shared and enjoyed with family and friends.
