SAN FRANCISCO — A special screening of “Life Is What You Make It,” a short documentary film written, produced and directed by renowned Broadway producer and proud Filipino, Jhett Tolentino, will be held at the Social Hall of the Philippine Center, 447 Sutter Street, San Francisco, on Monday, November 13 at 6:00 p.m.

“Life is What You Make It” documents the life story of Jhett Tolentino, a three-time Tony Award and Grammy Award winner, and one of the Ten Outstanding Young Men and Women of the Philippines for 2016.

The film relates his experiences from being a student in an impoverished area in Iloilo City, to becoming a professional working from one field to another until he finds his niche in the theater.  It is a story of his struggles and remarkable accomplishments, a tale of his journey back to his homeland as an accomplished individual.
