Purple Yam nabs a spot in the 2021 Michelin Bib Gourmand guide
Filipino-owned restaurant Purple Yam in Brooklyn, New York is among the 2021 Michelin Bib Gourmands’ 131 standout dining options on the more affordable side of the culinary spectrum.
These are all restaurants where diners can, in the eyes of Michelin’s anonymous inspectors, order two courses and a glass of wine or dessert for under $40.
Purple Yam’s renowned owners, chef Romy Dorotan and food writer Amy Besa also has a Purple Yam in Malate, Manila.
