NaFFAA to host Virtual Day of Service and COVID-19 Memorial

WASHINGTON – The National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA) is hosting a Virtual Prayer and Service event on January 18, 2020; 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. PT. The event aims to bring together Filipino Americans who will be offering prayers and pledges from the community, to help our nation address key issues such as poverty, hunger, racial injustice, homelessness, mental health, and overall health in the wake of the pandemic.

In the past year, nearly 400,000 of our fellow Americans have died from the coronavirus, including 250 nurses, 30% of which were Filipino. Join the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA) in memorializing their service and sacrifice by lighting a candle on Tuesday, January 19, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. PT / 5:30 p.m. ET.
