Chicago mag names Fil-Am among ‘Top 50 Women in Law’

CHICAGO–Fil-Am Attorney Aurora Abella-Austriaco, who is also an avid community leader, was selected by Chicago Daily Law Bulletin & Chicago Lawyer as one of the 50 exceptional Chicago Women Lawyers for 2020.

At Valentine Austriaco & Bueschel, P.C. (VAB), she is a partner and shareholder. Her concentration in this all-women law firm is on real estate transactions and commercial litigation.

Austriaco serves as President of the National Conference of Bar Presidents. She was elected Illinois State Delegate to the ABA House of Delegates this year. She is unprecedented in becoming the first female President of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers’ Association and one of the founding board members of the Filipino American Bar Association of Chicago. She has served as President of the Chicago Bar Association.

Attorney Aurora is also recognized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce as one of the “Ten Most Outstanding Filipino American Businessmen.” Today’s Chicago Woman named her as one of “100 Women of Influence in Chicago.”
