ANAHEIM, California – A Filipino American nurse who was known as a Disney fan and influencer on Instagram died of coronavirus 26 days after he and his sister, also a nurse, tested positive for the virus.

Joshua Obra, 29, was a nursing supervisor at a convalescent facility in Long Beach, but he was also known as the Disneyland Panda because of his love of everything Disney. Obra died on July 6 after he was hospitalized while self-quarantining with his sister, Jasmine.

“I think in health care, when the Covid-19 pandemic came around, it’s one of those things where as a nurse, you don’t run away from the fire, you run straight into the fire,” his sister Jasmine Obra told ABC-TV.
