PH embassy in DC resumes overseas voter registration

First passport and OV registrant on June 29, 2020. CONTRIBUTED

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Overseas Voter Registration resumed on June 29, simultaneously with the resumption of limited consular services, the Philippine Embassy announced.

Regular OV registration resumed July 6 for applicants with appointment for passport services.

Overseas Voter  services, in line with consular services, were temporarily suspended on  March 16 in view of the declarations of states of emergency in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia, and to help limit the community spread of Covid-19.
