Clarification on temporary travel ban for arriving foreign nationals
MARCH 23, 2020 — Further to the Philippine Consulate’s Advisory dated 19 March 2020, and DFA Foreign Service Circular No. 29-2020 dated 19 March 2020 regarding Temporary Suspension of Visa Issuance and Visa-free Privileges, please be advised of the following admission categories for incoming/arriving foreign spouses and children of Filipino nationals, effective 0000H, 22 March 2020:1
a.) Non-visa required spouse, and/or children, traveling with Filipino national. | Admit under RA 6768 (Balikbayan) |
b.) Non-visa required spouse, and/or children NOT traveling with Filipino national. | Admit under EO 408 non-visa required nationals). If not traveling with the Filipino national, must show proof of marriage or filiation to be exempted. |
c.) Visa required spouse, and/or
children, with ENTRY traveling with Filipino national. VISA, |

d.) Visa required spouse, and/or children, with ENTRY VISA, NOT traveling with Filipino national. | Admit as per visa If not traveling with the Filipino national, must show proof of marriage or filiation to be exempted. |
