UC Davis art exhibit includes work of Fil-Am artist

O.M. France Viana “The Delicious Sun/Photogram: Halo Halo”

DAVIS, California – Fil-Am artist and Plaridel Journalism Award winner France Viana will be part of a University of California at Davis exhibition honoring Asian Studies professor Isao Fujimoto, opening this Saturday January 25 at 5:30 pm and running until February 21, 2020.

Fujimoto was a founding member of the Asian American Studies Department at Davis, which is celebrating the program’s 50th anniversary. He was also a founder of the Community Development program devoted to the struggles and well-being of farm laborers and sustainable food practices.
