VANCOUVER, B.C.– Organizers of a huge Filipino festival last November 16 were so awed by its success that they are going to do it again next year.

A spring edition of Magkasama – A Modern Filipino Market is tentatively set for May 23, 2020. Magkasama Filipino Market was a one-of-a-kind event that offered food, drinks, apparel, art and more from more than 20 vendors.

Organizers from Shameless Buns and Layunin had planned the market expecting about 300-500 people to show up. But when more than 2,000 people greeted them instead, they said they were “at a loss for words,” according to 604Now.com.
