CBD can affect a drug test. Some drug tests can have a false positive simply from a small percent of the cannabidiol compounds in your body.  A few people have failed drug tests due to THC being in the CBD oil that they used.

The CBD oil drug test results can show up positively, which can cause a problem for you. Many times, however, CBD oil failed drug tests are not 100% factual.

The test can be affected in a positive way, however. CBD oil can show a false positive result as well.  Being aware of what the test result has concluded is always a good idea, especially if there is not a chance that you have failed your drug screen.

Certain occupations have a specific test limit for the THC levels.  If there is less than 50 ng/ml, one can pass a drug test. If someone fails their drug test, there is a way to get another result.

There is a blood test that will check for 15mg/ml. If you failed your drug test, try another option to retake. THC can stay in the body for 30 days, and CBD oil can cause metabolism to slow down in your body. If you or someone you know is concerned, try speaking to your employer.

If you have any other concerns as far as CBD oil on your drug screen showing up positive, do your research, check your CBD oil branding for percentages of THC that may appear in your urine test. Also, request a blood screen instead, may be a good option.

The best option for those who are taking a drug test in the near future for someone is to refrain from using anything until after you have your drug screen. It’s much better to be safe than sorry, right?

There are some cases in which CBD oil will not show up in your drug test, but THC will. There are some CBD products that are of lower quality and contain THC.

 The reason why anyone would fail a drug test due to CBD oil would be due to the traces of THC in your body.

This could also cause false positive results for your test. There may be a little tracer of THC in your body, and it may be over a certain cut off percentage.

Many factors can cause the test to be positive as well. Metabolism and body mass index are two variables affected.

After taking a serving of CBD oil, you still have an 11-23% chance of failing a urine test for THC. The rate of drug test failure with a standard does of commercial CBD oil is less than .2%. However, with the different types of CBD oils, some are different than others.

Always do your research on the CBD oils you may purchase and make sure that you know what amount of THC if any is going into your body.

Until recently, most drug tests solely tested for THC. Now there are new drug tests that can help you avoid false positive drug tests and keep your drug screen negative.

There is also a urine test that can identify the different cannabinoids in patients who are using marijuana for medicinal purposes only.  There is a way to detect CBD in the urine. It is said to be medically effective in pinpointing someone’s use of CBD and THC in the body.

If you are someone who has a prescription for medical marijuana, there is no need to worry about your drug screen, unless you are taking more than your dose prescribed by your doctor.  Employers will ask you if you’re taking any medications and ask you for a list of those, from your doctor.

When the medicines you’re taking, show up, all they have to do, is check your medicines list for confirmation. As long as you have your documentation, there should be no reason to worry about a failed drug screen.

Just because CBD oil is helpful and magical to some, doesn’t mean it’s okay in the workplace or if someone is on parole or probation.

Many people who have once used opiates to ease their pain are trying CBD as another suitable option for their pain. They do not get stoned and they can function in their daily lives with no pain.

CBD oils will not get anyone high. CBD oil probably won’t show up on a drug test. The trick in this, if the THC has been taken out of the CBD, then it will not affect your drug test.  Drug tests check for THC, not CBD.

A side note, CBD can react to the body’s metabolism of certain things. If you used marijuana and CBD, it will take longer to clear out of your system though.

The answer is CBD alone cannot fail your drug test. To be on the safe side, just refrain if you know a drug test is coming.
