Ambassadors’ Tour of PH inviting participants from southeast US
WASHINGTON, DC — The Philippine Embassy is inviting Filipinos, Filipino Americans, and foreigners in the US capital and the rest of the US Southeast to participate in the 11th Ambassadors’ Tour, which will take place on July 11-16, 2017 in the Philippines.
Participants in this year’s edition of the Ambassadors’ Tour will get to enjoy cultural destinations in Manila and eco-tourism sites in Davao, complemented with guided tours and topnotch accommodations.
Formerly the Ambassador, Consuls General and Tourism Directors Tour (ACGTDT), the Ambassadors’ Tour is a joint project of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Tourism and Tourism Promotions Board, the Philippine Foreign Service Posts in the United States, and Rajah Tours, that gives an opportunity for Filipino-Americans to reconnect with their Filipino roots and promote Philippine tourism to their non-Filipino friends.
“The 11th Ambassadors’ Tour turns the spotlight on Davao, the King City of the South, where participants can marvel at the scenery and fauna in Malagos Resort, Philippine Eagle Center, Eden Nature Park, and Crocodile Park,” said Minister Patrick A. Chuasoto, the Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires ad interim. A tour of Davao City is also included in the tour program.
“Join the 11th Ambassadors’ Tour and be a Filipino Ambassador in your own right,” he tells the communities across the US Southeast.
