How to Install Kodi on Fire TV: 2019 Guide

Installation:

  • Go to “settings” on your Amazon Fire Stick.
  • Check for “My Fire TV” and click on it.
  • Click on the “Developer” option.

  • Type in “downloader”, then click on the orange downloader icon.

  • Kodi installation will begin, wait until the process is complete.
  • Press “Done” when finished, then click on “delete” to remove the setup file of Kodi; this will enable you to free up the storage space on your Fire TV.
  • Next thing is to locate Kodi. This can be done by going to your Fire Stick homepage, scrolling to the right, looking under “apps and channels,” and selecting the “See All” button.
  • At this point you will locate the Kodi shortcut and move it by selecting “options” on your remote control, which looks like three vertically positioned horizontal lines.

  • Go to settings on your fire TV, allow “Apps” from Unknown Source.
  • Locate Amazon app store on the fire TV homepage.
  • Type in “FireDL” on the search panel in the app store.
  • Click on “download” and allow the download to complete.
  • Install FireDL, click “allow” on pop up.
  • Launch FireDL app.
  • Type in 600003 into the address bar on FireDL to install Kodi 18.1.

How to install Kodi on Fire TV through Appstarter:

  • Go to settings on your Fire TV, allow “Apps” from Unknown Source.
  • Download and install downloader.
  • Type in “https://troypoint.com/as” to download and install Appstarter.
  • Launch Appstarter and click on “updates” when done.
  • Click on Kodi on bottom right to download, and install the app.

How to install Kodi on Fire TV through Apps2fire:

  • Go to settings on your Fire TV; allow “Apps” from Unknown Source on your Fire TV.
  • On your Fire TV homepage locate the “About” tab and copy down the Fire TV IP address.
  • Install Apps2fire and Kodi on your android through your android app store.
  • Input the copied IP address of your Fire TV into Apps2fire.
  • Locate Kodi and click on “install.”
  • The Kodi app will be installed and ready to use.
