Artist Nilo Santiago exhibiting works in Falls Church, Virginia

FALLS CHURCH, Virginia — Renowned Filipino American artist Nilo M. Santiago is exhibiting his recent works at the Goodwin House Art Gallery in Bailey’s Crossroads, 3440 S Jefferson St. Falls Church, Virginia. It opened on Sunday, Jan. 12 and will be up through the month of January for those who want to stop by and see it.

An artist for the US Air Force, Nilo’s last exhibited at the Philippine Chancery Building, in commemoration of the 157th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal. The exhibit showcased his works on Philippine Historic Churches and Women’s Fashion at the turn of the century.

A graduate of UST Fine Arts School in Manila, Nilo has been working for the past 20 years as an artist in the metropolitan Washington area – as a creative designer, commercial printer, and painter in various media. He is a winner of numerous awards in national competitions in the United States and served as the official illustrator of the US Air Force for many years.
