After wrapping up his mandatory military service, BTS member V gave fans a personal glimpse into his life as a soldier by sharing a carousel of 20 candid photos from his enlistment.
The post, captioned simply with “Love me tete,” marks V’s return to civilian and idol life, following his official discharge on Tuesday alongside fellow bandmate RM.
Some of the snapshots show moments with his military comrades, including popular K-drama actor from “My Demon” and “Nevertheless,” Song Kang.

V was seen donning both his standard camouflage and black uniforms, showcasing the more rugged and disciplined side of his life away from the stage. There are also photos of him reading a book.
With over 10 million likes, his surprise photo drop quickly made waves across social media, as fans, especially the ARMYs, welcomed his return with enthusiastic messages.
The excitement was equally at peak in real life as hundreds of devoted fans, some of whom had traveled across continents from places like Mexico, waited outside military bases and airports to greet V and RM as they returned to idol life.
On Weverse, both V and RM expressed gratitude for the unwavering support they received during their time away. J-Hope, who completed his own service earlier, was among the first to personally welcome them back.
V was also reunited with his longtime friends from the Wooga Squad, a group that includes actors and musicians he holds close.
V and RM began their military duties in December 2023, joining their fellow members Jin, J-Hope and Suga, who had enlisted earlier. Suga, who is serving in a different capacity due to a previous injury, is expected to complete his service by June 21.
With all seven BTS members set to fulfill their national duty by the end of June 2025, the stage is being set for a long-awaited full-group comeback.
