The spotlight is on empowerment, elegance and culture as the Ginang Filipinas America 2025 pageant gears up for its grand coronation night on June 8 at the Knott Fine Arts Center, Mount St. Joseph High School in Baltimore.
This nationwide celebration, open to married women and single mothers of Filipino descent, continues to redefine what it means to be a modern Filipina in America.
The excitement ramps up as online voting officially opens on May 1 and continues until June 7, with the People’s Choice Award at stake. Votes can be cast from anywhere in the world, allowing communities near and far to rally behind their favorite candidates.
Voting will close on June 8 at 4 p.m., just hours before the grand finale.
Filipino American Radha Zabala, one of the candidates, encouraged participation by posting on her Facebook page, with a caption, “The search for the next queen begins! Support your favorites and let your voice be heard—every vote brings them closer to the crown.”
Recently, candidates from Washington State turned heads at International Fashion Week, offering a preview of the poise and pride that defines this growing pageant.
Far beyond a traditional beauty contest, Ginang Filipinas America highlights strength through storytelling, leadership and community involvement—giving women a powerful platform to be seen and heard.
“Empowering Filipino-American women takes center stage,” organizers said, echoing the core mission of the event. Through its inclusive and inspiring structure, the pageant with MGI Entertainment at the helm and community partners behind them, enables contestants to share their journeys, embrace their identities and support one another through camaraderie and confidence-building.
In 2024, Raquel Balingit made history as the inaugural titleholder. She is a single mother of six and is a full-time housekeeper from Gaithersburg, Maryland.
