88rising is going all out for its 10th anniversary, bringing together some of Asia’s biggest music stars for a celebration like no other.

The 2025 edition of the “Head in the Clouds” music and arts festival, set for May 31 and June 1 at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, is headlined by none other than G-Dragon and 2NE1 which marks a momentous return for these K-pop legends.

Organized by the Asian American media company 88rising, this year’s festival is poised to be one of its most iconic yet. Alongside G-Dragon and the highly anticipated reunion of 2NE1, the lineup has genre-defying artists such as DEAN, DPR IAN, Rich Brian and Porter Robinson (DJ set).

This mix of K-pop royalty, hip-hop trailblazers and electronic heavyweights reflects 88rising’s ongoing mission to amplify Asian voices on a global stage.

“88rising’s 10 Year Finale” is prominently billed on the poster, hinting at a grand retrospective moment and perhaps the most ambitious edition of HITC to date.

Since its inception, “Head in the Clouds” has evolved into a cultural beacon, carving out space for Asian musicians within the wider festival landscape.

Other standout names on the bill include Higher Brothers, Stephanie Poetri, Warren Hue, Miso and Seiji Oda, along with rising acts like “Blue” hitmaker Yung Kai, Karri and 4EVE. DPR ARTIC and DPR CREAM also appear on the roster, ensuring DPR’s signature presence is felt throughout the weekend.

The event promises not just music, but a multi-sensory experience, complete with curated food by Mama’s Night Market and what appears to be a whimsical feature listed simply as “The Magic Show?!?”

Passes are now available at la.hitcfestival.com, and with a lineup this stacked, it’s clear that HITC 2025 will be a celebration of not only how far Asian artists have come – but where they’re boldly headed next.
