Bustamante shared that her off-season was anything but restful. She spent the winter months pushing herself “really hard both on and off the track” in preparation for the season. Despite the grind, the transition hasn’t been seamless.
Adapting to the new GB3 car proved to be a significant hurdle. “It hasn’t been the smoothest journey adapting to this new car which is quite tricky to drive,” she admitted.
The car’s physical demands and complex dynamics have been a new learning curve – but one she’s determined to conquer.
Now racing with Elite Motorsport, she further emphasized the progress she has made with her team, while also remaining grounded in the reality of growth.

With a packed weekend schedule consisting of two days of practice, two qualifying rounds and three races, Bustamante knows this season will demand more from her than ever before.
“A lotttt more driving than last year hehe,” she added with playful honesty.
