BTS’ J-Hope ties with Jungkook for most K-pop solo hits on Billboard

BTS boys are on the next level as soloists!
BTS’ J-Hope continues to leave his mark as a solo artist with his latest single, “Mona Lisa,” which debuted at No. 65 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week of April 5.
This achievement ties him with fellow BTS member Jungkook for the most solo entries by a K-pop artist in the chart’s history, with both artists now having seven songs each.
Released on March 21, “Mona Lisa” quickly captured global attention, soaring to No. 1 on iTunes in 67 regions, including major music markets like France and Japan. The track also became one of the top trending music videos on YouTube.
Beyond its Hot 100 debut, “Mona Lisa” also made an impact across multiple Billboard charts. It claimed the No. 1 spot on the Digital Song Sales chart, marking the best-selling track in the United States that week.
Internationally, the single landed at No. 9 on the Global Excl. US chart and No. 14 on the Global 200 which all reinforced J-Hope’s strong presence in the global music landscape.

This success propelled J-Hope back onto the Billboard Artist 100 at No. 29, adding to his growing list of solo accolades.
Meanwhile, his bandmate Jungkook continues to achieve milestones of his own, ranking No. 23 on the US Chartmetrics Foreign Artists Chart – surpassing even BTS’ group ranking.
Despite their ongoing military service, both J-Hope and Jungkook continue to dominate charts and maintain their influence as soloists.
With BTS members RM and V set to complete their enlistment on June 10, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11, the countdown to the group’s long-awaited reunion is well underway.
Suga’s expected discharge on June 22 will officially mark the end of BTS’ military service era, fueling excitement for their highly anticipated comeback in 2025.
