Even global superstars get starstruck. This time, not as a Swiftie but as a Belieber. 

Blackpink’s Lisa may be a global superstar, but even she has her fangirl moments – and one of them involves pop icon Justin Bieber.

In a recent interview with The Guardian published on March 23, the K-pop idol revealed her one regret after meeting her teenage crush, the Canadian singer and hitmaker, for the first time years ago.

Lisa revealed that despite her massive fame, she still could not muster the courage to tell Bieber how much she adored him when they first crossed paths. 

“I met him a few years ago, but just for a quick hi,” she recalled. “I didn’t tell him how much I loved him because I (was) too shy.”

Well, Lisa also confessed her deep admiration for Bieber’s music, specifically mentioning his 2010 hit “Baby” featuring Ludacris as the one song she knows by heart. 

“I think everyone was a Bieber fan when they were young,” she shared, admitting that she, too, was among the legions of fans who grew up singing along to the chart-topping track.

While the Blackpink star may have missed her chance to express her admiration back then, her confession has only made her more relatable to fans.

Now, while she may have missed her chance to declare her Bieber love, who knows? With both stars dominating the music scene, maybe there’s still hope for a proper fangirl moment – or even a collaboration.

Meanwhile, in a recent Teen Vogue interview, Lisa also revealed her go-to karaoke song. When asked about her top pick for a sing-along session, she answered without hesitation: “For me, I’ll go for Taylor Swift. ‘You Belong With Me.’” The Fearless hit, a longtime fan-favorite, perfectly captures Lisa’s admiration for the Grammy-winning artist.
