‘Hello, Love, Again’ scores box office trailblazer award at MIFF 2025

The highest grossing Filipino film of all time and the highly anticipated sequel “Hello, Love, Again,” starring Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo and Kapuso star Alden Richards, has been recognized with another accolade at the 2nd Manila International Film Festival (MIFF 2025) in Los Angeles, California.
The film, directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, was awarded the MIFF Worldwide Box Office Hit Trailblazer Award after amassing ₱1.6 billion in gross sales.
Representing the film’s success, GMA Pictures President Annette Gozon-Valdes and ABS-CBN Films Head Kriz Gazmen, along with actor Mark Labella, accepted the award on behalf of the cast and production team.

Aside from “Hello, Love, Again,” the festival also highlighted other standout films. The night’s biggest winner was “Song of the Fireflies,” which dominated the Audience Awards with five major wins.
The film secured victories in multiple acting categories, with Filipina actress and singer Morisette earning Best Actress, Rachel Alejandro taking Best Supporting Actress and Noel Comia Jr. winning Best Supporting Actor. Additionally, it was honored as Best Picture.

Meanwhile, Kapamilya actor Seth Fedelin emerged as the MIFF Audience Award for Best Actor recipient for his performance in “My Future You.” This win marks another milestone in his career, following his Breakthrough Performance Award at the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival last year.
Sharing the excitement, Dreamscape proudly posted, “Congratulations, Seth Fedelin, for winning the MIFF Audience Award for Best Actor for the film ‘My Future You’ at the Manila International Film Fest! We are so proud of you, Kapamilya!”
The MIFF 2025 once again proved to be one of the grand stages for Filipino cinema, celebrating both commercial success and artistic excellence in the industry.
Beyond the films, Filipino American first responders during the Los Angeles wildfires were given honors at the MIFF 2025 closing gala at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
