More importantly, the box office earnings are expected to grow further as the romantic drama continues to make audiences cry, laugh and love in 700 theaters worldwide.

ABS-CBN Films revealed that the movie generated around P1 billion in domestic box office sales, complemented by over $7 million internationally. In North America, it made a splashy debut, earning $2.32 million during its opening weekend and securing the eighth spot in the region’s top-grossing films.

The film’s success owes much to a well-crafted marketing campaign that went beyond targeting the Filipino diaspora. By engaging Asian American, Hispanic and mainstream moviegoers, “Hello, Love, Again” managed to expand its audience base while celebrating Filipino storytelling.

Fans have praised Bernardo and Richards for their portrayals of Joy and Ethan, with the sequel delivering a heartfelt continuation of their journey that was cut short in Hong Kong as they chose to follow their dreams and go on different paths.

To further amplify its impact, both the Kapamilya actress and Kapuso actor announced that a portion of the movie’s earnings will go toward typhoon relief efforts. This decision was made after a series of devastating typhoons hit the country successively in November.
