When it comes to Filipino American pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo, one highlight from her 2024 GUTS world tour is the collection of thoughtful gifts she received from fans across different countries, including the Philippines.
In a conversation with Teen Vogue ahead of the release of her Netflix GUTS World Tour concert film, the Grammy-award-winning artist shared how fan-given gifts became a memorable part of her tour experience.
Rodrigo didn’t hesitate to mention a special present she received during her tour stop in the Philippines.

“I think my favourite one is (from) the Philippines, this sweet girl that I met crocheted me this beautiful bag and this bonnet that I find really chic, and so I’ve been wearing it,” she revealed.
The 21-year-old “Vampire” hitmaker proudly added, “And if anyone asks me, I’m going to say, ‘Yeah, a beautiful girl in the Philippines gave it to me. You can’t buy it, it’s one of a kind.”
It became clear that collecting gifts after each show held a special meaning for Rodrigo. She often gathered presents from fans, keeping them either in her tour bus or dressing room.
In fact, she later shared that an entire suitcase filled with these thoughtful gifts remains unpacked in her living room – a testament to how much these moments meant to her during the tour.
The multi-awarded artist has committed over $2 million in net proceeds from her GUTS World Tour to support global charities focused on empowering women and girls.
These contributions will be directed through Rodrigo’s Fund 4 Good, an initiative aimed at promoting equity and justice.
The beneficiaries include prominent organizations like the National Network of Abortion Funds in the US, Women Against Violence Europe and Harmony House Limited in Hong Kong.
One of the key beneficiaries is Jhpiego in the Philippines. Since 1980, Jhpiego has been actively working to improve the well-being of women and girls in underserved and conflict-affected communities across the country.
