BTS’ V sends warm winter greetings to ARMY

It’s officially winter season in South Korea and BTS member V recently spread warmth to his loyal fanbase.

Kim Taehyung warmed the hearts of ARMYs worldwide with a surprise social media post.

Sharing glimpses of his life during his mandatory military service, the K-pop idol uploaded a series of photos of himself in uniform on the group’s Weverse platform.

V looked dashing and composed in his military attire, showcasing his charm even amidst his duties. He shared a serene snapshot of South Korea’s winter landscape, further connecting with fans by asking, “Are you doing well? Did you see the snow? It’s the beginning of winter.”

His thoughtful message resonated with many, who flooded the comments section with words of encouragement, reminders to stay warm and heartfelt admiration.

V, who began his mandatory military service alongside fellow BTS member RM in December 2023, continues to keep in touch with his fans through these personal updates.

His post brought comfort to fans, many of whom have been awaiting news about their beloved idol during his time in service.

While Jin and J-Hope have since completed their training and resumed solo projects, ARMYs eagerly await the full group’s reunion, slated for 2025.

But V didn’t stop at a simple update. On Nov. 29, he delighted fans with the release of “Winter Ahead,” a jazz-pop duet with renowned artist Park Hyo Shin.

Described as a jazzy pop ballad, the track reflects both V and Park’s artistic styles. BigHit Music, the agency behind BTS, mentioned that the song’s “soft and gentle vocal colors” were designed to offer warmth to listeners, making it the perfect winter track.

The release was accompanied by a music video. Meanwhile, V is also preparing to release a special remix of the beloved holiday classic, “White Christmas,” on Dec. 6.
