BTS’ Jin makes waves globally with debut solo album ‘Happy’
Talking about global impact, BTS members are always pushing boundaries and setting new standards in the music industry. And proving this is the recent achievement of Jin with his debut solo album.
Bringing a fresh depth to the song, BTS member Jin has reimagined his solo track “Falling” with the addition of ONE OK ROCK frontman Taka.
Originally featured as a B-side on Jin’s debut solo album “Happy,” released earlier this month, “Falling” was co-written and co-produced by Taka and ONE OK ROCK guitarist Toru.
The album also features tracks like “I’ll Be There” and “Running Wild.”
The new version of “Falling,” released just recently, blends Jin’s delivery with Taka’s vocals with a duet that intensifies the theme of love and heartbreak.
According to Big Hit Music, “With the addition of Taka’s powerful voice, the song lets you feel the emotions of love in a new, deeper way.”
The release follows the success of Happy, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. This achievement also sees Jin joining his fellow members in securing solo entries on the chart, making BTS the first K-pop group to accomplish this remarkable collective feat.
Moreover, the K-pop superstar recently charmed audiences during his appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where he showcased his dance moves and shared his signature wit.
During the show, he revealed a heartwarming story about keeping a guitar gifted to him by Coldplay’s Chris Martin as a treasured “family heirloom.”
“I was hanging out with Chris Martin, and he had a guitar from his tour. I jokingly asked, ‘Can I have this guitar?’” Jin recalled with a smile. “Chris Martin was like, ‘Of course!’ I was so happy. Now it’s a family heirloom.”
This special connection stems from BTS’ collaboration with Coldplay on the hit song “My Universe,” where Jin and Martin first worked together.
