“Waking up this morning, I kinda couldn’t fathom doing a show on this day,” she admitted, as shared by a social media post.
Dedicating her 2022 song “TV” to the women in the audience, Eilish spoke about her personal experiences and the song’s relevance to ongoing struggles.

“This song is about the abuse that exists in this world, especially against women, and a lot of the experiences I have gone through,” she shared. Her voice filled with emotion as she continued, “I’ve never met a woman who doesn’t have a story of abuse. Not one.”
The “Birds of a Feather” singer expressed deep frustration over Trump’s return, describing him as “someone who hates women so, so deeply.”
Her words highlighted the gravity of the moment, acknowledging the trauma many women have faced and how vulnerable she felt knowing Trump would again hold office.
“I’ve dealt with some stuff myself. My boundaries were crossed, to say it politely, and now, a person who is a … let’s say convicted predator is about to be the president of the United States. This song is for all the women out there. I love you. I support you.”
In an Instagram story, she wrote, “It’s a war on women.”
As the day unfolded, she shared a growing sense of gratitude, expressing how fortunate she felt to be experiencing this moment together. Pausing to gather her thoughts, the “What Was I Made For” hitmaker reassured everyone of her deep care, emphasizing that they were safe and protected with her in that space.
