Alex Eala bounces back at WTA 250 Guangzhou Open
After facing early exits in two tournaments in China, Filipina tennis sensation Alex Eala has regained her momentum, achieving back-to-back victories that have propelled her into the main draw of the WTA 250 Guangzhou Open.
The Rafa Nadal Academy student showcased her skills and determination in her latest match, defeating Russia’s Elena Pridankina in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, during a match that lasted just over an hour and a half.
The match began with both players exchanging early breaks, leveling the score at 1-1. However, the Filipina paddler quickly found her rhythm, stabilizing her service games and seizing control of the set.
