“I’m so grateful to have met a group of incredible people that helped me bring this song to life,” she added. “Thank you for listening to my story & allowing me to be open and honest.”

The music video, directed by Christina Xing, complements the song’s introspective tone with its cinematic visuals, shot on 35mm film. Actor Gavin Leatherwood co-stars in the video, and Poarch expressed gratitude for his involvement, playfully calling him the “best fake husband” she could have had for the project.

“I can’t think of anyone else I’d want to be in this video with me. You were the best fake husband I could ask for,” she further stated.

Poarch also thanked Xing and creative producer Haley Appell, noting that the video shoot was one of her most memorable experiences: “You made shooting this video one of the best experiences.”

Through this release, Poarch invites fans to connect with her on a deeper level, hoping that listeners will feel seen and understood as they navigate their own emotions.
