Bella Poarch makes it to Forbes’ list of top creators in 2023

The Filipino-American social media star known for her engaging TikTok content has achieved yet another milestone in her rise to stardom.
Forbes has recognized Bella Poarch, the only Filipino on the list, as one of the “Top Creators of 2023,” highlighting her earnings of $3.3 million, which is approximately P189 million.
The 28-year-old content creator and singer secured the 34th spot on the lineup. According to Forbes, this year’s 50 honorees on the second annual creator list collectively garnered 2.6 billion followers and an estimated $700 million in earnings, marking a significant increase of over 20 percent from last year’s $570 million.

With over 90 million TikTok followers, the Fil-Am personality skyrocketed to fame through cute cosplay content, lip-syncing videos, and her pop song “Build a B*tch,” which reached no. 58 on Billboard’s pop chart in May 2021.
On her Forbes profile, it said that Poarch is also the only person on the list to have served in the military. “The former Navy helicopter mechanic has continued to be a true crossover star,” the profile states.
The list was made by looking into their estimated earnings, follower counts, engagement rates, and entrepreneurial endeavors. Proving her influence and reach, “she’s done deals with luxury fashion house Moncler and video game ‘Call of Duty,’ helping to make her one of the highest-paid TikTokers in 2021.”
At the top of the list with 312 million followers is Jimmy Donaldson, widely recognized as MrBeast, with a staggering total income of $82 million or over P4 billion.
